The difference between dyeing and printing

(1) Staining solution generally does not add thickening paste or only a small amount of paste; printing paste generally have to add more thickening paste in order to prevent the pattern of infiltration caused by unclear outline or pattern Distortion, dye migration during post-printing.

(2) The general concentration of dyeing solution is not high, the dye is easy to dissolve, and usually no auxiliary solvent is added; the dyestuff concentration of printing paste is often very high, and because more paste is added, the dye is difficult to dissolve, so it is often necessary to Add more co-solvents such as urea, alcohol, dissolved salt B and so on.

(3) Dyeing (especially dip dyeing) fabrics have a long action time in the dyeing liquor, which allows the dye to fully diffuse and permeate into the fibers to complete the dyeing process; the colorant is added during printing. After the paste is dried and formed into a film, the polymer film layer affects the dye diffusion into the fiber, and the diffusion rate of the dye must be increased by means of post-treatment steaming, baking, etc. to help the dye dye the fiber.

(4) Dyeing The printing has common requirements for certain types of dyes, but it may also have special requirements.
