Chile Export Promotion Association intends to strengthen sales of wool products to China

Chile’s “The Penguin” reported that the Magellan and Chilean Antarctic Sub-Council of the Prochile Promotion Association recently invited two Chinese wool import companies to visit the Magellan region in the southernmost region of Chile.

Proirle Magillen and Chilean Luirova, president of the Antarctic Regional Chapter, said that Chinese personnel have been well-received by local entrepreneurs and the visit will help improve the wool industry's competitiveness plan management committee.

Since the entry into force of the China-Chile Free Trade Agreement, Chile’s exports to China have continued to grow, especially agricultural products. At the same time, Chi has a large number of textile and apparel consumers in the domestic retail market, of which wool garments are the most popular. (Ministry of Commerce)
